After the fantastic success of last years National Conference in Dublin we are bringing it to Belfast for 2020. We are very excited  and are currently negoiating with the venue and creating a new bespoke style conference. Relationships Matter. Able Training is an accredited, evidenced-informed training program designed to help frontline workers understand the impact relationships have on every aspect of a person’s life. It aims to give practitioners the skills and knowledge to respond effectively and engage with people who turn to them for help, often in times of distress.

Irish Attachment in Action’s National Conference returns to The Helix, DCU, Dublin as we take over the second floor for what should be an exciting and motivating event. Our Community of Practitioners come together to offer a wide and inspirational range of Workshops and Presentations  along the overarching theme of “Why Attachment Matters from Trauma to Hope”. This is going to be something special with Practice Leads from across Ireland delivering 6 workshops and 3 keynote presentations with many of the topics having been requested by members and followers of IAIA.

ABLE (Adopt a relational approach, Build, Listen and Empower) brief intervention training provides a framework and builds skills to help practitioners to engage with, ‘listen to understand’ and empower patients and clients by embedding a relational approach into their practice.
